"A New Year, A New Beginning"
The old year ends, a new begins
With pages clean and new;
And what is written on each page
will now depend on you.
You can't relive the year that's past,
Erasing every wrong;
For once a year - or day - is spent,
It is forever gone.
But don't give up in dark despair
If you have failed some test;
Seek God's forgiveness and resolve
Henceforth to do your best.
Resolve each precious day to do
Things good and kind and pure;
Though days and years may pass away,
These things shall still endure.
You know not where your path may lead
Nor what's beyond the hill;
But know that God walks at your side,
If you will do His will.
All things are possible with God,
Though days be bright or dim;
So do your best and know that you
Can leave the rest to Him. - Author Unknown

Great Aussie Ad Campaign
Great Aussie Ad Campaign!
This needs to be passed around to everyone who has the keys to a vehicle. This is perhaps one of the most intense commercials that I've ever seen and well made. I think that Australia should be complemented on having the guts to "tell it like it is" and get this campaign out to all of its licensed drivers and to air it on TV...it is very moving and very life like it has a very strong impact.
If you have ever had to tell a family that their loved one will not be coming home again it is especially touching. Pass it along to all of your friends and kids who are of driving age.

8 Ways to Recognize a Real Man
8 Ways to Recognize a Real Man
Text - Genesis 2:7
God is seeking men with a full passion for the gospel message. The Lord is calling men to be filled with God’s Spirit. In order to crush the adversary and break generational curses, men must take a stand. Here are 8 ways to recognize a Real Man:
1. He Highly Esteems the Word of God. (Matt. 24:35) The most important book on earth is the Bible – it is the Truth. A Real Man reads, studies, and applies its principles to his life and his business. He refuses to be influenced, intimidated or manipulated by the ungodly environment around him.
2. He Prays Daily. (Matt. 6:6) Traps are everywhere. Deception can be fatal. Wrong people enter our lives daily. Because of his prayer life the Real Man is prepared for the fiery darts of the adversary. His power is in his daily connection to the Holy Spirit.
3. He Works to Acquire Wealth. (Eccl. 10:18-19) Money is important in this world. It solves problems. Money is merely a reward for solving a problem for someone else. A Real Man works to generate his finances. He understands the laws of prosperity, total dependency upon God, and how to use money effectively and wisely.
4. He Continually Evaluates the Friendships He Chooses. (Eph. 5:11) A Real Man protects the Spirit within him. He guards his heart, mind and soul. The Real Man knows how quickly wrong associations can destroy, so he studies carefully those around him. He stands as a watchman of his heart, home and harvest.
5. He Refuses to Focus on Mistakes. (Is. 43:18,19) Yesterday is over and must be forgotten. A Real Man focuses on the future. He pours his energy into creating the dreams he wants in his future. He refuses fruitless discussions of his own and other’s mistakes. For him forgiveness comes easy.
6. He Praises Quickly and Criticizes Slowly. (Prov. 18:21) Life can be harsh and people can be cruel. Words can be hurled like daggers, penetrating the heart. A Real Man uses praise freely, lavishly, and generously. His moments of criticism are cautious, measured, and gentle.
7. He Pursues Spiritual Mentorship. (Prov. 11:14) Nobody succeeds alone. He will never possess what he is unwilling to pursue. The most important knowledge on earth is the knowledge of God. Every week a Real Man sits at the feet of a spiritual mentor. He is not too proud to recognize his limitations. Anyone who pursues the presence of God becomes changed.
8. He Always Tells the Truth, Always. (Rom. 12:17) Integrity is a force. It will outlast every lie. Deception is always exposed. A Real Man knows that God honors honesty and righteousness. He pays his bills, is faithful to his wife, and fathers his children. He does not flatter with meaningless words. He refuses to lie under any circumstances. He can be trusted and his home is prosperous because of it.
